Не-а, сосновые иголки - это от цинги. Видимо, они-то и кончились, когда во время «фруктового изобилия» © [livejournal.com profile] vampirella529 произошло 114 известных больших эпидемий цинги, падающих на промежуток времени с 1556 по 1857 г, как сообщает нам Брокгауз с Ефроном.
